Length and layout

One page for freshers, two pages for experienced professionals. Use a single column, standard headings and a common font. Save as Word or a text-based PDF. Keep current CTC, expected CTC and notice period for the application form or recruiter call, not the resume.

Fresher resume tips

With little work experience, lead with projects and internships. For each, write what you built, the tools you used and the result, for example how many users, how much faster or what grade it earned.

Paste a job posting, upload your resume and see your estimated score, the requirements you do not show yet, and a tailored version that never invents experience. The check is free; your first tailored application is free after sign-in.

Questions

What is the best resume format for freshers in India?

One page: summary, skills, projects, internships, education and certifications, with projects described by results.

Should I include a declaration in my resume?

No. Modern recruiters do not need it, and it uses space you can give to results.

Should I mention my current CTC on my resume?

No. Share it on the application form or with the recruiter when asked.
